IFG Companies Hires New Bind Division President, Bradley Cox
May 3, 2013
ATLANTA, GA - Consistent with our strategic focus on building an outstanding leadership, I am pleased to report that Bradley D. Cox will be joining IFG as the President of our Bind Division.
Brad comes to us from AIG where he served in a variety of capacities since joining that organization in 1994. Most recently, he was with its Lexington Insurance Company where he was an Executive Vice President and Division Executive for its Casualty and Healthcare Divisions. In addition, Brad was Regional President of the Southeast Region for AIG's Commercial Insurance Group and Zonal Executive for the Risk Specialists Companies Insurance Agency (RSCIA), a brokerage subsidiary of AIG that offers a wide variety of property, casualty and specialty lines products and programs.
Brad graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Risk Management and Insurance. He also holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Associate in Surplus Lines Insurance (ASLI) designations.
Given his almost 20 years of underwriting, brokerage and leadership experience in the excess and surplus lines and specialty marketplace, Brad is an ideal choice to lead our Bind Division to a new era of business expansion, innovation and profitability.
Jeff Snook will continue in his role as Managing Director of Bind, reporting to Brad and helping him lead our Bind Division on its forward path.
Brad will be based in the Atlanta, Georgia area, where he will be opening a Bind Division Office for us in 2013. As a major center of insurance, we expect Atlanta to become the Bind Division hub over the long term.
